James Hodgson
I
have been a keen walker and outdoor enthusiast since an early age. Throughout
my life I have enjoyed getting involved with challenging activities including
The Ten Tors, Walking the Brecons undertaking The West Highland Way and
the Two Moors Way, some of the longest, picturesque routes in the UK.
Currently I run a walking club at work for be Active for Life, an initiative
sponsored by the British Heart Foundation, this has proved popular and
gets people out and about who otherwise may not.
With a new addition to the family due in March this year it is going to be a year of changes and new experiences. The opportunity to raise money for a less well known, worthy cause, whilst experiencing the breathtaking landscape of the Himalayas is the chance of a lifetime.
I count myself lucky to be able to participate in challenges like this and it feels good to be giving something back to the people who have helped so many others.
Cheers
James
